Job Description

Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help Pfizer with the operations required for the assembly and packaging of finished goods. You will manage product finishing scheduling, setting up, operating, maintaining, and adjusting processes or packaging equipment.

Your prior work experience and ability to apply your breadth of knowledge will help you adapt the standard methods and procedures. You will help us identify required delivery and process improvements that drive increased efficiency, throughput, and quality. You will recommend which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations. You will be relied upon to maximize quality and efficiency; complete batch records and associated documentation, and work in an integrated computerized manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage own time, and professional development, prioritize workflows and be accountable for own results.
  • Prioritize own workflow and assist in prioritizing the workflow of less-experienced colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to all plant safety rules in the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate the operation of manufacturing lines to assure that quality, compliance, safety, and production standards are met.
  • Develop, maintain and train team colleagues on Operator care task sheets.
  • Establish efficient processes, monitor specific results, and improve identified process opportunities using Right First Time and Lean principles.
  • Learn activities and tasks associated with your own role and follow specific, detailed instructions. Identify relevant concerns or factors and communicate issues impacting production activities.
  • Work well with colleagues from other business units.

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Certification in assigned area, if applicable
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures
  • Strong math skills with the ability to calculate percentages and develop basic graphs and spreadsheets
  • Ability to effectively communicate work instructions and coordinate the work of others
  • Ability to work in a controlled temperature environment wearing clean room attire
Nice-to-Have
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in MMI (Modified Manual Inspection)
