Job Description

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd is looking for competent professional to be an integral part of our team for the position Deputy Manager / Manager Business Operations based at our Corporate office, Vadodara – Gujarat.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all business operations activities for the assigned set of overseas customers.
  • Coordinate effectively with various internal stakeholders, including Production Planning, Demand Planning, QA, QC, Packaging Development, Regulatory Affairs, Purchase, IT, and Liaison teams, to fulfil customer needs.
  • Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports and presentations in a timely and error-free manner.
  • Enter purchase orders, debit notes, invoices, and other relevant information into the system (SAP) and ensure timely follow-up on the same.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, specifically overseas customers, to ensure seamless communication and meet customer expectations.
  • Accompany overseas customers or auditors to sites as needed, ensuring a positive and supportive experience.
  • Undertake any other tasks assigned from time to time

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Preferably science graduate with a management degree.
  • Experience: 9+ years in similar role in Pharma.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good Knowledge of MS PowerPoint, SAP
  • Good written communication
  • Ability to do strong follow ups
  • Multi-tasking ability (prioritizing tasks & coordinating with several stakeholders)
  • Ability to manage databases & retrieve data as required

Qualification: B.Pharma, B.Sc /MBA/PGDM (International Business)

Experience: 9-14 years of relevant business development experience
