Job Description

Role Overview:

Analyze data, draft and execute the marketing plan for the assigned product portfolio, design and develop direct marketing and promotional material, and analyze and recommend new product launches for allocated products within Galderma India guidelines with the objective of consistently increasing market share, sales, and profits for allocated products.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in business management & MBA in Marketing
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 – 8 years’ experience in Consumer or Pharma Marketing
  • Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position:

Proficiency with MS Office in an NT/Windows environment Knowledge of sales tools and techniques, creative skills, communication skills, and usage of external tools such as IMS. Experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales

Roles & Responsibilities

Marketing Plan & Promotions
  • Scan external and internal environment, and draft marketing plan for allocated products.
  • Design and pretest promotional tools of the brand plans with Doctors, Consumers and get the buy-in of the field force for comprehensive execution of marketing plan to accelerate demand and sales of allocated products.
  • Identify effective promotional campaigns & get the new brand launch strategy/communication right – to meet the requirements of the target audience, gain strategic insights & communication testing for new launches.
  • Manage the budget for advertising and promotional items.
Field Support
  • Provide timely motivational communication to the field staff, gauge market feedback, and follow up on the successful implementation of the promotional plans and activities.
  • Analyze sales forecasts and relevant financials and report on product sales.
  • Conduct fieldwork to demonstrate the plans and gain primary customer feedback.
  • Liaise with Medical & Regulatory;
  • Respond to queries of field staff and medical practitioners.
New Product Launch
  • Analyze market research data, identify gaps in the product portfolio, draft, and present proposals for new product launches, and execute launch plans to launch new products to increase market share.
  • Coordinate the launch program with external customers as well as employees.
  • Liaise with MTO, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Distribution to emerge with quality products supported by appropriate scientific evidence maintaining Galderma standards.
Training
  • Analyze training needs of the field team, liaise with Medical Team, and design, and support training programs to upgrade field skills of the field team in terms of disease and product knowledge and brand strategy.

Profit Improvement:

Liaise with MTO, Regulatory, and Finance to explore opportunities and avenues to improve profit contribution.

Networking
  • Establish contact with Regional counterparts of assigned portfolio, exchange marketing information, and migrate best practices to improve overall market share (of an affiliate).
External
  • Liaise and coordinate with external agencies, vendors, etc. for various promotional campaigns, launch plans, and various marketing activities.
  • Monitor market trends, and competitors’ activities.
Documentation
  • Contribute to collating, compiling documents, and submitting reports and liaise with the corporate team to gain, share, and utilize global learnings to affiliate operations.
