Job Description

Johnson & Johnson Janssen is recruiting for District Manager – (Metabolic), located in (Mumbai). Coverage area Western Suburb. 

The position is an individual contributor and the incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth in the assigned territory, maintaining effective customer relations, mapping territory potential, cascading science behind brands with benefits of brands, and collaborating with KOLs.

The associate will be responsible for the development of the team in sales management, scientific capability, relationship, and development of the market to leverage the market opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Schedule appointments and makes pre-planned sales presentations to customers. Map the potential of territory & develop new KOLs. Ensure the availability of products to service the customer and manage distributors.
  • Ability to understand Primary and Secondary sales trends for making an effective action plan for performance management.  
  • Build sustainable, long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in assigned territory by involving in Scientific Communication, and by using their advocacy at regular intervals.
  •  Build Sustainable Business through Proper Coverage of MSL list by meeting the designed Frequency visit with customers which shall impact overall performance positively.
  • Create and execute a plan for conducting scientific activities such as CMEs, develop CRM strategy, and ensure effective execution of marketing campaign which shall bring the desired performance by changing beliefs & behavior of Customers.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts & documents as required, in a timely & accurate manner. Review and analyze customer prescriptions/product sales and establish an improvement plan to achieve the sales objectives
  • Follow up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.
  • Drive business growth in assigned on-budgeted sales objectives on a continuous basis through effective customer relationship management, distributor management, inventory management, etc., in adherence to the company’s compliance standards
  • Review and analyze customer prescriptions/product sales and establish an improvement plan to develop subordinates
  • Follow up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a timely resolution

Qualifications

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science / Pharma
  • Total experience of 3 to 5 years of Pharmaceutical sales with a proven performance track record

Experience and Skills:

  • Total experience of 3 to 5 years of Pharmaceutical sales with a proven performance track record
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Diabetes TA Preferably in the Oral Segment.
