Global Product Manager – Insulins in Corporate Strategy & Corporate Affairs
About the department
The Commercial & Corporate Affairs department is responsible for creating insights to launch a product, market intel, forecasting, Global Brand Strategy, and tactics. Comprising Project Management, Brand Management, Brand Communications, and Life cycle Management of a product.
In the Diabetes GLP-1 and MNIAD area, we are a passionate team helping millions of people with diabetes achieve better health outcomes through innovative medicines and solutions. We drive and execute projects across a strong portfolio comprising both launch and life-cycle management brands.
The position:
This job is in Bangalore, India. International travel will be required for 5-10 days a year. You will join the GLP-1 diabetes global marketing team, driving strategic brand responsibilities. These responsibilities include:
- Support and/or drive tactics as defined in the global brand strategy.
- Certification and recertification of promotional material based on already approved core stories.
- Drive the MCE and omni-channel marketing strategy and tactics for the brand. Guide affiliates on the implementation of their local MCE plans.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of patient support solutions, incl. digital apps and websites to ensure better health outcomes.
- Support in better practice sharing amongst affiliates. Support the team in the maintenance of the brand Veeva portal, preparation and update of brand newsletters, training camp materials cycle release meetings, and Analysis of market insights and performance data.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (B.Sc), Engineering (B.Tech).
- Master’s Degree (preferably within Marketing) from a well-recognized institute.
- 6+ years of overall experience preferably in Pharmaceutical Marketing/Medical Affairs/ Sales/Brand Management/Project Management, with at least 3+ years of experience in Product/brand marketing/management.
- Experience in brand strategy & tactical plan development and implementation.
- Strong experience in planning & execution of the Multichannel Engagement (MCE) strategy.
- Cycle material development and their application to maximize brand performance.
- Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analyzing complex datasets, collecting data, and effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture.
- Strong collaboration with brand teams, affiliate teams, and other internal stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex topics into simple and efficient communications and develop storylines for presentations etc.
