Job Description

The position:

As an HRBP, you will be partnering with line management in developing a business unit workforce strategy to proactively address business issues related to people development and productivity to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness. You will ensure business unit strategies are aligned with people priorities to provide a competitive advantage.

You will drive change in the business unit, by informing and convincing the assigned business unit management team of the required changes and agreeing on responsibility for the practical implementation of these changes. You will drive the ODP process in the assigned business unit together with line management; identify key positions, evaluate incumbents & successors, and spot talents for the organization.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will build an engaged, inspired workforce in the business by partnering with managers in the employee life cycle and ensuring appropriate support in day-to-day issues related to specific individuals, the organization, and/or communication.
  • You will collaborate with HR colleagues in other HR functions (Total Rewards, Talent Management, Learning, Global HR, etc) and offer integrated HR solutions to support business plans as high-value offerings.
  • You will work with line management to identify, assess, and develop employees to prepare them for future roles with a focus on diversity within leadership.
  • You will collaborate with HR team members and key stakeholders to identify, develop, and continuously enhance programs, policies, and processes to support organizational strategy and HR objectives.
  • You shall provide support and feedback to other HR functions (Total Rewards, Talent Management, Learning, Global HR, etc.) with regard to the ‘pulse’ of the unit to support the development and implementation of strategies and policies.
  • You will liaison with specialists at the centers of expertise who can provide focused expertise to address specific HR needs while contributing to the overall GBS HR strategy and be responsible for driving the same in the assigned business unit.

Qualifications

  • You should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably within human resource management or behavioral science with a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in human resources out of which at least 7 years in HRBP.
  • You shall exhibit a successful track record as an HR specialist with involvement in organization design and development, change management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee training and development, facilitation skills – group and individual, training, team development, conflict resolution working knowledge of employment law.
  • You shall hold experience in developing and implementing change initiatives in a global, matrix management structure.
  • You shall demonstrate an exceptional ability to work with stakeholders at the highest organizational level. You must have excellent communication skills.
  • It shall be expected of you to be highly self-motivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with minimal or no supervision.
  • You shall be comfortable to challenge the status quo with a passion to deliver results in a dynamic environment.
  • You should have the ability to lead in an informal ‘roll up your sleeves and get it done’ manner that is perceived to be people-centric, effective, and marked by a high level of energy. You will be expected to practice and promote ethical behavior.
