Job Description

Primary Function/Primary Goal/Objectives:

  • To operate & monitor the liquid process equipment & operation activities like wet mixing, heat processing, homogenization & CIP as per schedule in the plant facility.
  • Should have knowledge of the food process industry and cGMP affecting product quality.
  • To maintain quality standards, tools, and methods for processing materials into finished products.
  • Identify maintenance and improvement needs online

Major Responsibilities :

  • To comply with the manufacturing schedule.
  • To operate & monitor plant operation as per quality & safety compliance.
  • To build a good work environment across teams to have healthy relations.
  • To assume responsibility to improve process efficiency and quality of the product.
  • Responsible for operating and maintaining automated Process equipment in Liquid processing(batch formulation, Pasteurization & Homogenization, storage, CIP)
  • Responsible for documentation on an hourly basis and maintenance of records.
  • Responsible for following policies, work instructions, and SOP’s.
  • Responsible to maintain housekeeping of the Processing area, wet process control room, Oil storage, reception area & Finished product tanks.
  • Should take the initiative of preventive maintenance of his own area.
  • Responsible for ensuring continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and maintaining the hygiene of his area/machine.
  • Responsible for Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
  • Responsible for following and delivering batches as per upstream process requirements to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Need to involve in continuous improvement efforts /projects.
  • Should lead shift activities

Education :

  • ITI in related fields (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Production)
  • Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in Dairy, Food, Pharma, and Chemical plants.
  • Knowledge of wet processing (reconstitution, mixing, homogenization & Pasteuriser is a must.
  • Sound knowledge of cGMP.

Background :

  • Should have knowledge of the food process industry and GMP affecting product quality.

Accountability/Scope :

  • To operate & monitor the process equipment (HTG, evaporator & dryer) & associated activities as per schedule in the plant facility.
  • Should have knowledge of the food process industry and cGMP affecting product quality.
