Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Preventive, Maintenance of all activity and to attend immediately Breakdown Machinery of all the mechanical equipment in the plant
  • Responsible for erecting, and commissioning all Engineering equipment of Pharma for the Injectable Plant.
  • Responsible for all Engineering Documentation work (Preparation of DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, SOPs, Calibrations, History Cards, and Preventive Maintenance Plans) in the Engineering and Maintenance Department as per CGMP Standards
  • Responsible for maintaining Good Safety at all engineering department activities..
  • Responsible for Doing Calibration of all Instruments& maintaining all documents
  • Knowledge of cGMP Audit/USFDA/ANVISA/WHO/MHRA/EU.
  • Responsible to maintain all engineering equipment & utilities in the plant good& ready to use manner.
  • Analysis of equipment &machine failures.
  • Assessment of the required tools for the projects of the equipment.
  • Adopt and implement a detailed maintenance plan to minimize failures resulting in the stoppage of work. And less downtown
  • Keep updated with the organization.
  • Responsible for checking the specification and the capacity of the machine and decide of which machine is required to be imported from the suppliers.
  • Maintain all documentary work, and generation of reports (Daily maintenance log books, Maintenance Plans, Monthly presentations, Annual presentations & updating Schedules) for the higher management in order to exercise control of the project.
  • To Assist in all projects related to machinery identification, FAT & Installation.
  • Responsible for operation, maintenance & handling of Plant – utility which includes HVAC systems consisting of 550 TR water-cooled chillers, connected AHUs and counter flow cooling towers, etc.
  • Responsible for providing technical support to users in terms of electrical, qualifications, change control, and PMP addition.
  • Responsible for operation & maintenance of L.T. panel, PCC panel, MCC panels, DBs & Switchboards.
  • Responsible in troubleshooting the machines if there is any problem or complaints from the clients.
  • Responsible for maintaining an inventory for the requirement of the supplies & spares.

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E., M.Tech
