Roles & Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • MEDICAL EDUCATION & CLINICAL TRAINING SUPPORT
  • Manage & Co-ordinate all clinical education of Aesthetic portfolio in the assigned region
  • Clinical assistance at educational events, and KOL-led workshops
  • Adverse Event consultation/support
  • Clinical engagement in congress participation and development of KOLs
  • Clinical input in training materials as required by the business

Location:  India. Interstate Travel will be required.

Reporting: Aesthetics Medical lead (Functional)/Medical affairs lead (administrative)

Specific duties and responsibilities of the Position:

  • Implement strategic HCP training goals of the organization at the assigned region, aligned to marketing strategic plans and Modular Training Curriculum
  • Preparation and execution of training plan in the region
  • Support to Provide relevant clinical education & training to ensure the competence of HCPs with the safe & effective administration of the Galderma aesthetic portfolio. The focus will primarily be new accounts, HCPs from Chain clinics, new/intermediate Aesthetic HCPs for beginner, intermediate & advanced indications
  • Support in Providing clinical education, clinical upskilling, and mentoring of the Commercial Sales team, as required by the BU
  • Pre-training- reach out to each trainee & the trainer.
  • Share the curriculum for the training with each participant, before training.
  • Share the objective of the training.
  • Introduction of the trainer to each trainee.
  • Single touch points with trainers for coordination & date finalization for CET.-maintaining their monthly availability of calendar dates for training.
  • Post Training-Liaise with HCPs attending Training for further Product Adoption and follow-up.
  • Feedback from Trainees post each training
  • Clinical Queries post-training, solving basic ones by themselves, advanced queries escalating to medical lead for Aesthetics.
  • Tracking adoption post-training-weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, maintaining the sheet to assess the quality of the training.
  • Hand-holding post-training- for a few days to a week or a month, either in person or virtually depending on the need of the business,  aiming at improving HCP’s treatment strategy & injection skills in order to fulfill our vision of pursuing excellence in clinical practice.
  • Create and deliver clinical education/curriculum relevant to current and upcoming campaigns as guided by the medical lead for Aesthetics and aligned to marketing plans
  • Support Conduct all clinical training and educational events to the required professional standards and ensure compliance as well as local regulations & Galderma policies and protocols.
  • Demonstrate excellence in patient/client assessment, planning, post-injectable care, and evaluation during clinical training sessions including appropriate documentation.
  • Maintains currency of practice and ensure skills and techniques of HCPs are UpToDate with current best practice and literature including understanding relevant clinical papers, and attendance at clinical congresses & workshops.
  •  Management & Records, comply protocols & maintain the data of Adverse Events and Technical Complaints in a timely and professional manner under the guidance of the medical lead for Aesthetics
  • Support & guide Clinical trainers as per the GAIN curriculum to ensure professional standards are demonstrated by trainers
  • Sample Utilization tracking for the training along with medical coordinators.

General requirements :

Education/Training: Qualified MBBS /MD pharmacology

With 3 to 5 yrs. Experience in Aesthetics/cosmetics or pharma industry with an inclination toward Aesthetics.

Professional Technical Competencies/Skills :

Competent & inclined in advanced patient assessment and facial anatomy.

Writing Skills:  Ability to analyze technical documents and prepare reports, instructions, and plans

Communication Skills: – Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written

Clinical /Project Management Skills: – Ability to write and present arguments in complex technical documents; contribute positively to team projects

Organization Skills: – Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple, simultaneous, and fairly complex activities effectively.  Use resources available optimally.
