Job Description
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute the business plan profitably for the Region, by effectively designing and implementing BU business plan and sales strategy within stipulated budget and laid down framework of corporate compliance
- Create, maintain, and nurture an optimum distribution infrastructure to facilitate maximum reach and market share
- Explore the diversification into new markets through the development of innovative sales strategies & pre-empting the competition
- Create high performing team through alignment around business strategy, sales effectiveness, and corporate compliance
- Develop future talent for the organization by effectively utilizing available resources and investing in coaching / mentoring of the team
- Develop strong relationships with Regional Thought Leaders and drive belief status for the assigned portfolio
- Nurture and leverage relationships with various professional forums and key decision-makers
- Prepare for effective launch of new assets and drive launch execution excellence.
- Drive IMCM to enhance customer reach and engagement
WHO YOU ARE:
- Graduate in Science preferably a master’s degree in Business Management
- Min 10-12 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales with team management for at least 3 to 5 years covering the entire Eastern Region
- Strong understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market & govt. regulations
- Ability to design business plans and strategies at Regional level
- Successful New product launch and prior Diabetes Therapy Area experience will be an added advantage
- Proven track record of leading a team towards strategy implementation and target achievements
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office & Digital applications
