Job Description

Role Summary:

The incumbent in this role will assist the Workforce Planning team in reviewing the organizational design of key departments across India, Emerging Market, and Japan region along with maintaining Manpower norms across various Business Units to drive productivity and efficiency.

Primary Responsibility:

HR Transformation & Organization Design:

  • Diagnose, design, delivery, and deployment of organization design initiatives
  • Work closely with Business leaders to identify and assess function-specific organization design projects to enhance both operating effectiveness and productivity
  • Conduct Job Evaluation for unique roles across India, Emerging Markets, and Japan region by understanding role aspects as per the JE framework and tool mapping.
  • Identification of linkages from organization design imperatives to career pathing, succession planning, emerging skill set, and work along with Learning and Talent Management teams to define talent onboarding and retention strategies

Workforce Planning:

  • Partner with HR & business teams to define optimal manpower distribution
  • Work closely with the business to ensure adherence to plan and objectively update manpower plan in line with business changes
  • Embrace several sources of insights and combine those into a single source of truth (HRIS system, Talent Acquisition System, Contract Management, Business case, Financial plans, Headcount reporting, Continuous improvement, etc.)
  • Keep track of functional headcount plans
  • Maintain consistency and integrity of unique job roles

Project Management:

  • Work with COEs and HRBPs to design, plan and implement global HR transformation and improvement projects
  • Benchmark HR best practices wherever required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and hierarchical levels to enable buy-in and feedback


Essential: Post Graduation with specialization in Human Resources preferably from Tier 1 institutes

Preferred: Certifications or additional courses on either one or more areas ~ Organisation Design, Talent Management, HR Transformation, SPHR, CPHR


2-3 years experience in Big 4/ Consulting firm that is in the field of Human Resources driving relevant projects e.g., Talent Management, Organisation design, manpower planning, HR process improvement.
