Job Description
Officer-Microbiologist – Environment Monitoring
Environment Monitoring: Responsible for monitoring the manufacturing environment to ensure that it is free from contamination. This would involve testing the air, surfaces, and water for the presence of microorganisms.
Water Testing: Responsible for collecting water samples from various points of use within the facility. Ensuring that the sampling is carried out according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and that the samples are properly labeled and stored.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Candidates should have a strong foundation in microbiology and related areas such as genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and immunology.
- Should be skilled in techniques such as PCR, DNA sequencing, microbial culturing, and microscopy.
Qualification: MS/M.Sc(Science) in Microbiology, Biotechnology
