Senior Manager Engineering – Mechanical

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Quality:.
  • Engineering Quality System, Faced Regulatory Audits

• Budget:

  • Preparation of annual Engineering/Capex & budget to meet the site business Plan.

• Strategic plan:

  • Review SOPs and suggest corrective actions.
  • To review validation protocols.
  • To initiate & Review the QMS Modules as applicable.
  • To train the department personnel by identifying the training needs.
  • To participate in Self-inspections / Audits.
  • To review the critical breakdowns and to initiate corrective actions.
  • To ensure for the availability of critical spares for Repairs, Preventive Maintenance.
  • To ensure that Good Engineering Practices are implemented.
  • To conduct vendor inspections as and when required.
  • Responsible for imparting training to the personnel in Engineering Dept. SOPs related to their job roles.
  • Propose annually a list of activities and Project Key Milestones (on the critical path) in line with the project plan.
  • Strong project management skills.

  • Must have Exposure to:

    USFDA, EMEA, UK MHRA, ANVISA, and other regulatory compliances, Monitoring, Operational Excellence, Audits, and Compliance.

• Continuous Improvement Process:

  • Maximize resource utilization and flexibility while minimizing energy, water & utility costs. Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing Systems (Kaizen)

• Performance Plan and Follow-up:

  • Develop Systems and processes to monitor and optimize engineering resource utilization
• Maintenance:
  • Make sure that the preventive and corrective maintenance plans are coherent, efficient, and implemented
    Monitoring the utility efficiency on a regular basis and controlling excess consumption.

Qualification: Candidate must be B.Tech/B.E (Mechanical) and have experience of 15 to 18 years with Top pharma companies in engineering, maintenance, & Projects.
