Work & Experience
• In charge of patients admitted in a multispecialty ward. There were around 15 patients admitted under various specialties like the Cardiology, Pulmonology, General Medicine, General Surgery, and the Orthopaedics. • Attended daily rounds and collected history from the patients, diagnosed their illness and treated them along the indicated line of management with the help of senior consultants. • Assisted surgical procedures such as hernia repair, varicose vein ligation and modified radical mastectomy. • Performed minor surgical procedures like lipoma/cyst removal, wound debridement, pleural fluid and ascitic fluid tapping. • Supervised the duties of a medical team consisting of nurses and other support staff. • Achieved high staff morale and retention through effective communication, problem resolution, supervisory practices and facilitating a proactive work environment
