Job Description

The position

As an Associate Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for –

  • Identifying and addressing business opportunities and challenges in the territory. Anchor account planning, targeting, customer profiling & customer engagement.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, capturing competitor information, and using experience to forecast business and sales plans.
  • You should have knowledge of key industry business drivers, emerging medical trends, and performance metrics and the ability to leverage that knowledge to inform strategy.
  • Develop and retain a high-performing business unit and engage employees within the team on personal responsibility by communicating and clarifying the business strategy, to enable integration of all business activity.
  • You will build strong advocacy of Novo Nordisk’s portfolio with key external stakeholders through ongoing/robust scientific interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Also, ensure compliance with all relevant State and country statutory requirements.
Qualifications
  • You hold a full-time bachelor’s degree in Pharma / Science from a reputed institution
  • You should have a minimum of 8 years of industry work experience
  • Should be open to relocation
  • Good in communication and negotiation skills and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong track record in thorough planning, execution, and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind.
