The position:
As an Area Sales Manager – Delhi you will be identifying and addressing business opportunities and challenges in the territory. Anchor account planning, targeting, customer profiling & customer engagement.
- You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, capturing competitor information, and using experience to forecast business and sales plans.
- You should have knowledge of key industry business drivers, emerging medical trends, and performance metrics and the ability to leverage that knowledge to inform strategy.
- Develop and retain a high-performing business unit and engage employees within the team on personal responsibility by communicating and clarifying the business strategy, to enable integration of all business activity.
- You will build a strong advocacy of Novo Nordisk’s portfolio with key external stakeholders through ongoing/robust scientific interactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Also, ensure compliance with all relevant State and country statutory requirements.
Qualifications:
- You hold a full-time Bachelor’s degree in B-Pharma / Science and Masters’s in Business Administration (preferred), from a reputed institution
- You should have a minimum of 8 years of industry work experience with at least 3 years in Fist Line Manager role.
- Sales achievement criteria – 100% sales achievement at least 1 year in 3 years (YTD 2022, 2021 & 2020) & 90% or above Sales achievement in the remaining 2 years.
- Should be open to relocation – PAN India as per organization plan.
- Good communication and negotiation skills and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Should possess strong business understanding and analytical skills
- A strong track record in thorough planning, execution, and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind
