Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- The key deliverables of the role include effective implementation of the HR Policies, initiatives, and interventions in the BU/plant(s) to create a performance-driven culture.
- Implementing the approved HR strategic initiatives by working closely with Business Units and Functions.
- Manpower planning, preparation, and monitoring of Annual HR budgets.
- Talent acquisition, management & development aspects implementation of the same in alignment with organizational HR objectives while meeting specific BU/plant(s) requirements.
- Manager Statutory Compliance, Time office & Payroll.
- Drive governance on critical human resources metrics such as plant-level retention and cost.
- Apply change management strategies, influence and assists organizational change initiatives in support of business strategies
- Compliance with Internal Audit and ensuring completion of audit findings
- Liasoning with govt officials like factories inspector, labor departments, local bodies, and other government departments based on the requirement.
- Oversee performance management processes to support a high-performing culture at an individual and organizational level.
- Ensuring high Employee Engagement levels.
- Drive the implementation of reward and recognition strategies that foster a high-performance organization and support the attraction and retention of top performers. Building internal relationships and working effectively with others to jointly resolve issues and opportunities.
- Improvement of general productivity within the BU/plant(s).
- Compliance with HR Policies and statutes as defined by law.
- Deploying systems & procedures to ensure a stable environment in the plant.
- Liaising with all external stakeholders where necessary and appropriate.
- Managing redressal of employee grievances.
- Management of conflict and stakeholder differences in the organization’s interest and in alignment with broader HR principles.
- Managing contract workforce – ensuring compliance, and establishing processes.
