Job Description
Assistant Manager – R&D Virology
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To plan and execute Transfection, Lysis, Maturation, Western blot, Ultracentrifugation, Titer estimation, and Neutralization assay with serum samples.
- Cross-functional coordination for exploring opportunities / supporting process and testing improvements, with a focus on cost/quality and on technology innovations.
- Development of pseudovirus-based neutralization assay required for immunological/serological studies.
- Responsible for stock maintenance of media, Reagents, and disposables required for Polyoma and HPV pseudovirus assay studies.
- Preparation/review of SOPs for execution. Troubleshoot the challenges in assay developments through the experimental and literature mining approach.
- Maintenance of instruments and their records.
- To assist in any other activities assigned by senior management.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in GMP-related activities and documentation.
- Experience in Viral vaccine development is desirable.
Candidates with experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Culture & Virology are suitable for the role
Educational Qualification: MS/M.Sc(Science) in Biotechnology, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology
Experience: 6-11 years
