Assistant Project Manager – EPR & Compliance | Abbott | Mumbai

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of project management under various EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) compliance, consulting & assurance Projects covering all aspects impacting our product portfolio
• Identification & Execution of current or New EPR Requirements
• Liaising the Corporate EHS Team, Global Product Stewardship, Legal, Govt Affair, OEC, & other compliance & regulatory offices (internal & external)
• Handle the cross-functional team for timely data collection & submissions under various EPR requirement
• Vendor Negotiation & onboarding for Registration & EPR Liability fulfillment & certification
• Meet all required timelines to remain compliant with any required registration or EPR certification, etc.

Qualification & Experience:

•  Education: Graduate in Science / Engineering M Tech / Ph.D. / MBA in Environmental & Social Sustainability or related fields. Any Certification in ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, or Business Sustainability is desirable
• 4 to 8 years of full-time work experience in an EPR consulting/manufacturing/startups/rating agency in ESG / Project Management in EHS-related fields
• Process knowledge of recycling/dismantling/manufacturing in engineering/electronics/plastics/waste ecosystem will be desirable.
• A person with good analytical, project management, problem-solving, creative and design thinking, and oral and written communication skills will be a right fit for this posit
