Job Description

Associate Area Sales Manager – GLP 1 BU Bangalore

The position:

As an Associate Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for –

  • Identifying and addressing business opportunities and challenges in the territory. Anchor account planning, targeting, customer profiling & customer engagement.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, capturing competitor information, and using the experience to forecast business and sales plans.
  • You should have knowledge of key industry business drivers, emerging medical trends, and performance metrics and the ability to leverage that knowledge to inform strategy.
  • Develop and retain a high-performing business unit and engage employees within the team on personal responsibility by communicating and clarifying the business strategy, to enable integration of all business activity.

You will build strong advocacy of Novo Nordisk’s portfolio with key external stakeholders through ongoing/robust scientific interactions. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Also, ensure compliance with all relevant State and country statutory requirements.

Qualifications
  • You hold a full-time Bachelor’s degree in B-Pharma / Science and Master’s in Business Administration (preferred), from a reputed institution
  • You should have a minimum of 8 years of industry work experience and at least 3 years as a People Manager.
  • Should be open to relocation
  • Should have completed MAC / NAVIGATOR or currently part of MDP, during your tenure with Novo Nordisk
  • Good communication and negotiation skills and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong track record in thorough planning, execution, and follow-up is required, with a creative and innovative attitude that will enable you to drive initiatives with operational excellence in mind.
