Job Description

Job Purpose:

Drive Cipla NA portfolio and overall business growth by executing licensing and CMO deals to achieve Cipla NA growth mission/vision in the US

Accountabilities:

  • Generate leads by identifying potential In-Licensing, Contract Manufacturing, and Out-Licensing opportunities to expand Cipla’s NA portfolio and business
  • Evaluate potential In-Licensing, Contract Manufacturing, and Out-Licensing deals by conducting due diligence for decision making
  • Execute Term Sheets and definitive agreements for deal closure as per Cipla’s best interests
  • Support post-deal execution activities for successful launch and commercialization of products in the US
  • Identify and evaluate unique opportunities, projects, and technology in line with Cipla’s growth strategy for strengthening Cipla’s presence in North America
  • Lead and motivate the BD team to create an environment conducive to high performance
Education Qualification

Graduate or Post Graduate in Science with MBA

Relevant Work Experience

5-8 years in Business Development and Licensing
