Job Description:

Manage & scale up e-commerce activity, and revenue, improve accounts performance, execute digital strategies for increasing the product demand, and ensure continuous online growth of Galderma India products under the supervision of the E-commerce Lead. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. E-Commerce Accounts Vendor Management

  • Onboard new e-commerce vendors agree to their terms & conditions and increase the overall e-commerce umbrella channel.
  • Plan & manage strategic business plan with e-commerce vendors for an entire year on aspects like product category planning, sales forecast, product inventory, supply forecasting, etc.
  • Review strategic plans on a monthly or quarterly basis.
  • Project sales region-wise along with inventory requirements & give analysis to business heads to undertake necessary marketing & sales plans.
  • Follow up with the e-commerce vendor for PO, appointment & confirm outstanding due before the new PO is supplied to the vendor.
  • Administer everyday activities at the e-commerce platform and develop efficient eCommerce strategies to maximize channel growth.
  • Managing listing on Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart) Pure Play E-com (Nykaa, Purplle), and E-pharmacies (1MG, Pharmeasy & Netmeds).
  • Keep looking for emerging E-com sites and ensure partnership with them and listing on Galderma brands.

2. Driving E-Commerce Sales Targets

  • Responsible for the delivery of the online sales plans and contribute to the regular re-forecasting process throughout the year.
  • Produce seasonal product sell-through analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales and sourcing to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities with e-commerce platforms.

3. Driving ROI Driven E-Commerce Marketing Campaigns

  • Ensure catalog maintenance, relevant product images, product communication & A+ content is up to date on all the platforms.
  • Develop e-commerce platform-wise marketing strategy in line with Brand Marketing/ Business Goals and evaluate the Pre ROI of all the marketing spends.
  • Coordinate with brand team & agency for marketing content creation for all campaigns and take relevant approvals as per SOP.
  • Monitor & track the e-commerce marketplace about illegal brand products or products sold in any grey market.

4. Planning & Evaluating Digital Media Campaigns

  • Effectively plan & develop digital media campaigns to meet marketing & business strategies.
  • Implement & track the campaigns on a regular basis on various digital media channels.
  • Ensure optimum results which meet set KPIs and calculate Pre ROI & Post ROI of all campaigns.
  • Build an understanding of the latest media innovations and implement those relevant to marketing/business objectives.

5. Cross Business Collaboration

  • Work with the brand team for creative and campaign launches on e-commerce platforms.
  • Work with the supply chain team to ensure stocks are aligned as per sales target and location-wise.
  • Work with the finance team to align consumer discounts, promo, and other marketing expenses.

Skills & Attributes Required:

  • Ability to practice techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing and online sales.
  • E-commerce sales management, account management, and growth development.
  • Able to handle margins, negotiations, and platform advertising
  • Have a strong understanding of e-commerce and advertising metrics.
  • Expert understanding of different technological components of online commerce.
  • Knowledge of database creation, search engine optimization tactics, data mining, and security issues.

Job Requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or similar and a master’s degree would be an added advantage.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 6-10 years of continuous experience in e-commerce management, marketplace management, and digital marketing.
  • Required pre-requisite skills/experience for this position: Proficiency with MS Office suite & strong experience across e-commerce business management, account management & driving sales.
