Job Description
Assistant Manager – R&D Virology
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the downstream operations
- Filling the Protocols/BPR process documents on time.
- Data mining, sorting, and escalating the results or observations to the line manager.
- Materials readiness, preparation of buffers, and ensuring the pre-requisites for the batch (GLP/cGMP)
- Getting the results from QC, raising requests to CFTs
Knowledge/ Skills required:
- Proven skills in the purification of proteins/VLPs/peptides/polysaccharides,
- Handling of FPLC systems AKTA Avant, AKTA pilot, and column packing, etc
- Experience in Techniques- cell lysis, filtration, TFF, precipitation, chromatography, handling of inclusion bodies, Disassembly, and reassembly.
- Biochemical analytics like Bradford, BCA, Lowry, anthrone, original, PAGE, LAL endotoxin, etc.,
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team environment – a team player.
