Job Description
Head-Immunology (Functional Lead)
Department: Vaccines R&D
Roles and Responsibilities
- Leading team of professionals to oversee immunological assay development and performance.
- Plan and monitor Pre-clinical study of vaccines, immunological method development for specific identification of protein/antigen in accordance with pharmacopoeial specifications, Generation and qualification of polyclonal sera, Cytokine profiling, and quantitation, and Validation of ELISA method.
- Development of immunoanalytical methods for various analytes.
- Immunoanalytical methods qualification as per project requirements.
- Generation and qualification of polyclonal sera against various target antigens, including pneumococcal capsular polysaccharide.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proficient in using the Luminex platform & Real-Time PCR
- Experience in biochemical methods for protein and protein-polysaccharide conjugate analysis (SDS-PAGE, BCA/Lowry, colorimetric, and UV/Vis spectroscopy).
- Experience with immunological evaluation of proteins, peptides, glycol-conjugates, viruses, and macromolecules.
- Knowledge of SPR.
Qualification: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Immunology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry
Experience: 15-20 years
