Job Description
You will be managing production cost centers and supervising production personnel in the manufacturing of products. You will support our patients’ needs by maintaining impeccable regulatory compliance and developing behavioral and technical competencies for the organization within an environment of continuous improvement.
As a Manager, your breadth of knowledge on internal or external business challenges will help us improve our products, processes, and services. You will be responsible for meeting objectives and preparing forecasts for resource requirements. Your risk-taking ability will help us advance new concepts and methodologies. Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple projects within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
- Provide solutions to a wide range of difficult/complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity, innovation, and creativity.
- Ensure {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} and Good Distribution Practices {part of GxP} in day-to-day operations.
- Manage staff involved with the production or completion of the process in compliance with all regulatory requirements, cGMPs, and company policies, procedures, and goals.
- Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities within the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
- Work closely with quality, production, procurement, suppliers, and forwarding agents to ensure supply continuity.
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Lead or oversee investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, applying tools, to improve quality, cost, safety, and/or cycle time.
- Ensure audit readiness and prepare a monthly report of production activities including trend analysis and system health.
- Guide, monitor, and develop the team to foster continuous improvement and set realistic objectives.
- Execute product quality/production performance on time and within budget.
- Develop a high level of performance improvement through effective people management and the development of a multi-skilled workforce.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities the year and sort the customer, its mission, participants, beneficiaries, and fellow team members in a cost-effective, operationally efficient manner.
- Provide technical guidance and support to program leadership and program stakeholders through projects that impact program performance and support the strategic goals of the customer.
- Ensure delivery of departmental goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and other associated project tasks or deliverables assigned to OE teams.
- Collaborate with Site Managers and Operations Managers to ensure enablers are in place to support operations.
- Ensure departmental engagement goals are met.
- Ensure delivery of all required reporting visuals for weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting.
- Ensure contractual deliverables for the department are met or exceeded.
- Identify program and site risks to the sustained achievement of contractual requirements for quality, and timeliness, including the identification of root causes associated with those risks and effective strategies for the mitigation/elimination of those root causes.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead project teams
- Proven ability to work in a cross-cultural environment and provide technical leadership while working remotely
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing and administering projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (PPT, Word, Excel, etc)
- OPEX experience
