Job Description
- Lead and manage the instrumentation department in API Plants.
- Oversee troubleshooting in process automation DCS and PLC systems.
- Utilize software including Factory Talk View, TIA Portal, and Simatic Manager effectively.
- Ensure sound knowledge and implementation of computerized system validation, inventory management, and user management.
- Directly handle instrumentation maintenance, VFD, and UPS maintenance.
- Plan, monitor, and review calibration activities in adherence to SOPs.
- Supervise plant and machinery maintenance as per SOPs.
- Manage day-to-day engineering activities, including routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and modifications in plant & utilities.
- Ensure strict compliance with Safety Procedures, cGMP & SOPs.
- Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance work as per requirements.
- Foster seamless coordination among departments and colleagues.
- Spearhead training sessions related to the job role.
- Participate in budget preparation, tracking, and control of Revenue & capex.
- Coordinate and lead vendor and regulatory audits.
- Execute Change control, unplanned & planned deviation, CAPA review report, Document retention, Audit response, and review of SOPs.
- Provide crucial engineering support for equipment qualification of plant & machinery.
- Manage engineering inventory requisitions.
- Coordinate and liaise with the purchasing department and suppliers for efficient procurement of spares and maintenance-related services.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Extensive experience in instrumentation maintenance and process automation.
- Profound knowledge of SOPs, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with effective communication abilities.
