Job Description
Position Purpose:
The position is an individual contributor and the incumbent will be responsible for contributing to scientific awareness of the disease therapy, prescription generation and driving secondary sales of products in institutions, raising demand for products, registration of new molecules, and timely payments for supplies
Key Account Executive – Government Account Cardio Diabetic
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Chartering new growth avenue:
- Drive Business Growth in assigned Institutes by delivering on budgeted sales objective objectives while adhering to organizational policies & interest in executing the role as per supervisory mentorship
- Reviews and discuss his/her plans for the achievement of the allotted budget for each account and for each month
- Schedule the frequency of calls with Health Care professionals viz. Doctors, Pharmacists, and other HCPs
- Rigorously adheres to coverage plan and frequency
- Maps potential of assigned Institutes
- Profiles, and prepares HCP’s lists as per business requirements. Plan & prepare interventions for new Doctors’ conversions
- Work extensively on Generating demand or Indent from prescribers and on liquidating stocks in assigned Institutes
- Ensures pre-call planning for effective outcomes from HCPs
- Builds consistent, long-term association with KOLs in assigned Institutes by involving them in Scientific Engagements very regularly
- In consultations with the marketing and medical affairs team executes and plans for conducting scientific awareness meets
- Collect and submit insights from the Institutes that can propel growth
- Use technology developments for effective field operations
Leveraging growth opportunities:
- Responsible for timely participation in tenders resulting in revenue generation
- Initiates and supports in process for registration of newer molecules in niche therapeutic segment
- To work on demand generation and liquidation of approved Bayer’s molecules in assigned Institutions
Engaging KOLs/ KTLs:
- Maps potential of Institution and develops new KOLs
- Builds sustainable, long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Thought Leaders in assigned Institutions
Collaborating with stakeholders
- Collaborates with trade sales teams to drive demand and recommendations for Bayer’s products
Financial Recovery:
- Responsible for ensuring timely payment for supplies made to institutions and adheres to all process requirements especially documentation for the same
- Recovery of EMDs and Bank Guarantees
Market Intelligence:
- Gathers market intelligence and shares the same with Line Managers for mutual business goals
WHO YOU ARE:
- Graduation (Post-Graduation in Management preferred)
- At least 3-4 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales including at least one year of experience in Institution Sales
