Job Description

Major Activities / Tasks:

Achieve the sales target for respective customer accounts to support the top-line of Cipla Global Access
  • Support KAM to handle the large institutional buyers and ensure business sales targets are met
  • Support/handle the small institutional buyers and ensure business sales targets are met.

Engage with customers to ensure long-term market position.
  • Represent Cipla before the customers and key stakeholders and promote Cipla’s vision, brand, and products
  • Achieve the OTIF target of the customer
  • Timely response to be provided to the customer and ensure the deadlines of RFQ/requisitions are met.
  • Maintain adequate communication with the institutional buyers and ensure a timely flow of requested information to them
  • Ensure timely pick up of the orders thereby achieving monthly/quarterly LBE
  • Participate in online tenders for entering into a long-term agreement with customers
Guide timely Registrations/Regulatory approvals across geographies for CGA products to meet the sales targets
  • Identify the right product-country mix for registration of products based on the Key Accounts inputs and guidance and coordinate with the regulatory department for timely registrations and approvals
  • Coordinate with regulations for timely filing of dossiers and registrations
  • Respond to the Regulatory queries from customers in coordination with the RA team

Support order management by coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth flow of orders generated and supplies in the countries:
  • Follow up on purchase orders from buyers and plan with the Operations/SCM team on the production plan and undertake effective order management.
  • Liaise with the operations team for timely order invoicing
  • Coordinate with logistics for shipments and rigorous follow-ups with customers on waivers/timely approvals to achieve sales on a monthly basis.
  • Resolve any concerns in order to movement
  • Monitor the inventory status and work on the Liquidation plan to generate revenue.
  • Derisk any outstanding payments from customers.
 Undertake activities to gain market intelligence to keep pace with competitive prices for winning tenders:
  • Identify trends in the market from the Key Accounts and report back for efficient sales and business strategy
Explore new products/therapies:
  • Engage with customers to understand their products of interest, price analysis, and add new products/therapies to the CGA portfolio

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 5-8 years of experience in key accounts management
  • Skills: communication (written and verbal), persuasion, presentation, negotiation, follow-ups
