Job Description
Project Manager (PMO) – Associate to Manager Level
Women Candidates Preferred
Role:
Manage and support project areas working closely with the project manager Expansion; executing the approved plans ensuring project deliverables on time, within budget targets, and with quality that meets or exceeds business needs.
Role & Responsibilities:
Project Schedule Management
- Support project manager (Expansion) delivering the project plan (s) for assigned projects/plans
- Develop and maintain the plan integrity, prepare a detailed WBS and activity plan using appropriate project tracking tools, devise a contingency plan
- Prioritize and coordinate/Integrate the project plans with cross-functional colleagues/stakeholders
Project Quality Management:
- Provide support and require compliance through various means with respect to the adoption of project management frameworks or methodologies, use of specific templates, forms, and tools; and conformance to governance frameworks
- Act with integrity & influence all the tasks performed focussing on patient safety
- Participate and support site initiatives in driving compliance, safety, quality, and culture.
Project Risk Management:
- Maintain an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
- Follow risk management approach and escalation routes appropriately to minimize the impact.
Project Change & Configuration Management:
- Establish and apply change and configuration management processes
- Collaborate with key functions and people in driving change comprehensively.
- Proactive in identifying/escalating all possible risks/challenges in the project life cycle
Project Communication Management:
- Facilitate periodic project reviews in driving project objectives, decision making
- Manage and maintain data, reports, and knowledge systematically/accurately
- Proactive in identifying/escalating all possible risks/challenges in the project life cycle
- Participate in tiered reviews and support performance management in delivering results
Project Knowledgebase Management:
- Demonstrate flexibility at the workplace in taking up multiple tasks/assignments as needed
- Leverage on best practices available in the network to improve functional processes (PMO) at the site
Data Integrity and GMP:
- Know and indicate the importance of data integrity and GMP compliance in all phases of Project management
Essential Requirements:
Preferred Education/ Qualification:
- Graduation in Engineering, Pharmacy, or Post Graduate Science or Technology/Master of business administration.
Experience:
- 5+ years of Experience in industry with specific exposure to Project management or Operations, Formulation, or Life sciences industry for 2 years
Core Competencies:
- Project Management knowledge
- Pharma Industry knowledge
- Expert in Microsoft Project Software tool usage.
- Process and Engineering knowledge (Desirable)
Standards, Processes & Policies
- cGMP practices
- US FDA and WHO guidelines
- Quality policies and procedures
Desirable Requirements(Nice to Have):
Advanced Competencies”
- PMP certification is desirable
- Understanding of Lean & Six Sigma Concepts.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suit.
