Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handling of anchorage-dependent mammalian cell cultures
- Preparation and maintenance of cell banks (Master and Working seed banks)
- Revival of cell banks in TC flasks
- Handling of cell growth in TC flasks from T525 to CS40
- Preparation of Bioreactors and cell expansion process in bioreactors
- GMP documentation such as the writing of SOPs and managing BPRs
- Working in classified areas, media preparation, sterile filtration, and operation of SS Bioreactors of up to 200L
- Cell culture process understanding and troubleshooting of process equipment.
- Operation of Metabolite analyzers, cell counters, and microscopic observation of cells.
- Managing a small team of officers and training them in the process operations. Helping them with their skills and personal development.
- Troubleshooting process and process equipment.
- BSL II/ BSL III or GAP 3 facility working experience is a plus.

- Handling of cell cultures in static cultures, Bioreactors, and Media Preparation
- GMP documentation
- Working in classified areas
- Managing small teams
- Being a team player and able to coordinate with cross-functional teams of USP, DSP, QA, QC, Engineering & MSAT.
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, M.Tech in Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, MS/M.Sc(Science) in Biotechnology, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology
