Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for Daily sampling and analysis of in-process and water samples as per the procedure.
• Responsible For Preparation And Pouring of Media Plate And Their Record And GPT (Growth promotion test) of media.
• To perform Bioburden Test.
• To perform BET.
• To report results of the analysis in raw data sheet issued.
• Entry and maintain all micro-related logbooks.
• To Follow the QMS (Quality Management System) system (Out of Specification, Deviation, Incident)
• To participate in validation activity.
• To perform environmental monitoring in the clean room as per the standard operating procedure.
• Observation and review of media fill container and temperature monitoring of the area.
• To maintain the GLP (Good laboratory practices) and follow GDP (Good documentation practices) in the laboratory.
• Any other Responsibility assigned by the HOD (Head of Department).
• To perform identification of cultures and culture maintenance.
• To perform a Growth promotion test of prepared media and dehydrated media.
• Responsible to send samples to outside testing laboratories.
• To perform the swab testing as per Standard Operating Procedure.
• Responsible to perform disinfectant preparation and filtration activity.
• Responsible to perform the fogging activity in the microbiological laboratory.
• Responsible for sampling, incubation, and observation of Biological indicators.
• To monitor incubator condition daily and record, to take the printout and verify.
• To run the washing and drying machine
• To run the autoclave and Dry Heat Sterilizer (DHS) cycles and unload the loads as per SOP.

Qualification: B.Sc Microbiology, MS/M.Sc Biotech, Microbiology
