Main Purpose of the Role :

Drive OE as a cultural improvement initiative and support the team to adopt and drive cultural change.

Position Details

Role: Operational Excellence Manager

Location: Genome Valley, Shameerpet, Hyderabad

Experience: 10 to 15 years

Qualification: BE/BTech. from a Reputed College/University & MBA (Operations)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Developing OE Roadmap.
  • Aligning OE model & roadmap with business-level Scorecard.
  • Reviewing of OE roadmap with the Steering committee & coordinators.
  • Driving all Improvement Projects in Productivity, Quality, Cost, and Deliver (PQCD)
  • Driving pilot projects with OE methodologies & tools (TPM/Lean/Six Sigma)
  • Developing models for : 5S, KAIZEN, Improvement Projects & Visual Controls
  • Formation & supporting Circles and setting specific Circle KPIs
  • Prepare monthly MIS on OE progress
  • Criticality assessment of equipment & pain areas.
  • Facilitate in capturing OEE, MTBF & MTTR, and setting up targets.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to drive and influence improvement objectives
  • Facilitate conceptualizing & executing various process transformations across the vertical
  • Ability to observe, analyze and give constructive feedback.
  • Facilitation for routine loss analysis and building capability within the organization to eliminate that loss.
  • Conducts VSM and implements improvements for all work processes in order to eliminate NVAs.
  • Leads continuous improvement of problem-solving approach and trigger system to start the problem-solving cycle
  • Drive Various Operational Excellence Programs, workshops & cultural improvement initiatives
  • Performance evaluates OE of dept. & plant
  • Facilitate & Conduct (internal & External) training on OE methodologies & tools
  • Facilitate External Plant visits & participation in competitions
  • Training module preparation.
  • Conduct an unbiased R&R Program.
