Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Shall be responsible for packing activities for Oral Solids and liquid products covering primary and secondary packing; Liquid packaging of both General and Hormone blocks.
  • Responsible for maintaining the cGMP standards in the packaging areas as per CDSCO and WHO guidelines.
  • Responsible for documentation activities in the packing areas
  • Responsible for the cleaning and up-keeping of the packing areas.
  • Responsible for the training of all workman
  • Responsible for maintaining the areas, equipment, documentation, and cleanliness in the packing areas and ensuring that they are duly qualified, calibrated, and in good condition all the time.
  • Responsible for QMS covering investigations, RCA, CAPA, Complaints, Deviations, and Change controls in the packing area
  • Responsible for preparation, updation, and implementation of SOPs and maintaining the records.
  • Do the monthly planning and generation of daily reports and monthly reports.
  • Shall be responsible for enhancing productivity and provide means for improving the same.
  • Shall be responsible for the internal and external audits.
  • Work with QA and Engineering team for the equipment qualification and process validation
  • Ensure that packing yield is maintained within the limit
  • Line clearance (Batch/product changeover) SOP and record
  • Area environmental conditions (Temp / RH / P) measurement and records
  • Receipt of primary packing material and its return to the warehouse after batch completion with proper packing & labeling and record.
  • Stereo Management (Indenting/receipt/issuance/verification/usage/destruction) and its record maintenance.
  • Implement QMS (Deviation, Change Control) and maintain GMP
  • Filling of BPR and record maintenance
  • Receipt of compressed/ coated tablets for batch along with BPR and reconciliation
  • Equipment cleaning, usage record
