Job Description
Role Overview:
Manage sales activities including organizing, developing, and maintaining a region capable of achieving the Company’s sales objectives, under the supervision of the Business Unit Head.
Job Requirement:
Education: Professional Graduation in Pharmacy or Science
Work Experience:
- 10 years of continuous experience in sales with a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as District Sales Manager/ Area Sales Manager
- Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position: Proficiency with MS Office in an NT/Windows environment and familiarity with sales tracking and reporting software.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and establish action plans to enable the region/zone to achieve agreed regional sales objectives
- Set and monitor regional performance goals to achieve sales forecasts.
- Responsible for growing the market share of key brands in respective states.
- Develop plans that effectively translate national strategy at the state & district level.
- Provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction to sales representatives to exceed performance goals & make team ready for future management roles in Galderma.
- Ensure smooth coordination between supply chain CFA and Field Staff.
- Ensure accurate forecasting of brands to ensure the right inventory as it will ensure durability and fewer expired products.
- Review all promotional programs and activity reports.
- Supervise all aspects of field sales activities through District Sales Managers
- Attract, coach, and retain individuals who will ensure high-level performance.
- Execute a business plan collaboratively with Marketing, Human Resources, Medical Affairs, and Market Access that reflects current and future market/customer trends as well as the current brand, channel, HCP, thought leadership, and contracting strategies.
- Develop a sustained relationship with top customers to maintain open lines of information and support, business plan influence, and proactively identify and take action on any competitive threats.
- Coordinate with marketing for the organization of seminars, meets, and conferences on the zonal level.
- Analyze and control expenditures of the region to conform to budgetary requirements and recommend improvements.
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Monitor and evaluate competitors’ activities and products.
- Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines.
