Job Description

Execute formulation development for Topical dosage formulation and perform routine scientific research to complete the allotted tasks to meet the overall objective of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute development of Physio-chemically stable and bioequivalent formulations of solid dosage forms.
• Prepare, analyze, and maintain records of experiments/studies.
• Abreast with current trends and techniques of experimentation/studies
• Plan and Perform activities/trials in the lab to meet end results.
• Conduct and perform literature survey, patent search, Pre-formulation studies (API evaluation, drug excipient compatibility studies), prototype formulation development and stability studies, etc. as per ICH guidelines.
• Perform Scale-up & process optimization of developed formulations.
• Perform and execute pilot batches, and technology transfer of developed products to manufacturing site Plan, track, and execute formulation activities for smooth and faster delivery of projects.
• Plan and coordinate with the manufacturing site for execution of Scale up/ Exhibit batches.
• Plan, ensure, and exhibit calibration for instruments and balance.
• Prepare and maintain documents as per guidelines at each stage of studies.
• Prepare Process Development protocols, Master formula records, In process & finished product specification, Product development report preparation, SOPs, etc. as per guidelines.

Desired Profile:

• M. Pharm with domain knowledge and exposure from a pharma company.
• 3 -10 Yrs. experience in the Formulation Development department in a regulated pharmaceutical organization.
