Job Description
Research Scientist – Peptide API
Role & Responsibilities:
- Should have hands-on experience of Solid phase peptide synthesis and purification.
- Should be able to lead and guide the team for synthesis and other routine laboratory work. Understand regulatory market expectation for synthetic/recombinant peptides.
- Should be familiar with modern separation and analytical chemistry techniques.
- Should have the knowledge of scale-up of solid phase peptide synthesis process.
- Should have knowledge of interpretation of Peptide characterization data.
Product development responsibilities:
- Having a good understanding of R&D development and cross-function activities.
- Have a good understanding of document preparation for R&D and allied activities.
- To be involved in scale-up batches and plant validation batches and execute experiments that are designed for troubleshooting of challenges faced during scale-up batches.
- Follow safety rules in all operations going in the lab and SOPs compliance in the lab.
- To maintain the cleanliness of the lab, lab chemicals management, take care of lab instruments and their proper use
- To fulfill extra lab responsibilities allotted.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Required Qualification: MSc / PhD Chemistry
- Experience: 4-8 Years in Peptide Industry
