Job Description

The individual is required to: 

  • Proactively identify consumer and market trends and offer insights using a Deductive & Predictive approach
  • Partner communication development for both routes: direct to consumer and through an influencer.
  • Handle all research – both qualitative & quantitative
  • Handle all Discovery Projects (Strategic Research) required for business development
  • Managing the research program for the year within allocated budgets

Market Research- Reporting/ Analytics :

  • Support business with reporting and analytics using all syndicated databases (including hands-on experience on relevant software platforms
  • Synthesize multiple data sources and draw detailed analyses and insights. Cater to the dual needs of the business model
  • Setting up regular presentations on categories and markets by agencies
  • Evaluation of agencies, writing project briefs for customized projects in conjunction with marketing and end-to-end project management on customized projects
  • Ensure quality & timely delivery of syndicated as well as customized data
  • Championing the Insights agenda across the organization by setting up systems, and processes to build Consumer centricity. To be done for consumers as well as influencers
  • Maintain a repository of historical syndicated data as well as all customized projects to be used suitably
  • Bring together market research, and online and e-commerce data to develop a single view of consumers in our various categories

Experience Details

  • Educational Qualification: Graduated from a Top tier business school in India with an interest in marketing/ consumer insights
  • 8 – 10 years of experience in or across top tier CPG / Consumer Health Care / Consulting / Agency in Marketing / Consumer & Market Insights: Only qualitative research does not qualify, Quantitative research experience must
  • Worked across a spectrum of market insights tools ( primary research/ syndicated research in the Indian market
  • Strong business analysis skills: Ability to triangulate knowledge across multiple data sources and come up with clear conclusions
  • Ability to develop & champion insights and demonstrate strong ownership in ensuring that growth plans are strongly rooted in consumer & market knowledge
  • Collaboration skills – Seamlessly work across multi-functional teams and global and regional insight teams
  • Develop and shape analysis and research plans working through complex stakeholder needs.
