Job Description
Role Purpose:
You’ll have a key role in an organization with people at its heart. You will be managing a range of activities that help our global workforce, including maintaining employee histories, administering company compensation and benefits programs, and organizing training. You will be relied on to plan the manpower needs from internal and external sources. You will also have the important role of advising on all types of contract negotiation, including discussions with union representatives. As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the HR team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time to meet agreed targets, and develop plans for activities on own projects.
- Drive cost-effective processes to meet Pfizer’s current and future business needs.
- Implement HR systems, processes, and programs across the division in coordination with the operations team.
- Supports in anticipating People issues & proactively come up with solutions that meet future business needs
- Supports sites Px priorities and HR goals
- Demonstrates fresh, insightful thinking by developing creative approaches to processes & practices.
- HR Analytics & Dashboard – Support in analyzing & interpret data related to HR and evaluating impact. Ex: Turnover, Colleague movements, Diversity, Exit/ Exist, Pulse traction, etc.,
- Work as a PGS India Px member to ensure consistency of approach, processes, and practices across the site
- Supports in creating connections between Px ideas, plans & processes
- Responsible for
- Co-facilitates change and process management (Performance, Engagement, Talent Management)
- Partners with Px colleagues to find best solutions (identifying talent on-site / F&F etc.,)
- Support site in assessing organizational needs, developing plans, and leading and sustaining organizational development initiatives that enhance the organizational culture and sustain competitiveness in an ever-changing business environment.
- Support the development of site leaders and their leadership teams through coaching and active development to ensure a sustained focus on growth, talent retention, and talent development
- Support Pfizer Culture by facilitating the creation and maintenance of an effective colleague relations environment that aligns with the site’s Open Door Policy and build management capability by providing coaching and consulting, guidance and direction to the business.
- Aid in coaching on talent management and development planning to leaders and managers throughout the annual Talent Management, Performance, and Development Cycle.
- Partner with PX shared service groups and centers of expertise to provide an integrated PX service to the site aligned with global business and PX strategies.
- Bring insight to leaders on modern PX principles and practices which lead to the site being a Great Place to Work.
- Challenge the Status Quo and introduce Simplicity in how we work.
- Support varied HR projects for the site as well as India PGS Px growth
- Establishment and maintenance of colleague induction and off-boarding procedures
- Support the site implementation of new PX systems, processes, and programs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must-Have
- Full-time master’s degree in HR
- 1-3 years experience
- Demonstrated HR experience in a matrix team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft software for office productivity with a direct focus on Microsoft Excel mastery
Nice-to-Have
- Proven experience in HR operations
- Proficient in Workday, experience with other HR systems and online tools
- Possess project management, organizational diagnostic, and analytical skills
- Possess the analytical and creative skills to understand issues and develop creative solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of the organization, people management, coaching, and development experience
