Train and coach the Process-Centric Team to develop and execute Operator Care routines while ensuring appropriate stakeholders (reliability engineering, facilities operation, quality, safety, etc) approve any changes required.
Manage the defect handling and related work management processes; including management of the defect log, maintenance planning, and technology/ process upgrades.
Own the Tier 1 Operator Care program; including leading the Operator Care slots, updating and reviewing visualization of Operator Care and maintenance activities, and developing and continuous improvement of Clean-Inspect-Lubricate (CIL) routines and Centerline routines.
Contribute to CI process at Tier 1 and Tier 2; including ownership of some JDIs/CI projects/ actions, attend Tier 1 CI meetings, and support the Process-Centric Team with problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Improving the knowledge base of the workforce through TPM/ Lean training and encouraging people to explore new ideas for continuous improvement.
Coordinating and leading various lean Workshops with all levels of people in the plant.
(TPM, 5S, Problem Solving, Kaizen Event, VSM, QC Story, Kanban, Pull System, etc….)
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/ Instrumentation/ Chemical
6+ years of industrial experience
Experience in Total Productive Maintenance [TPM] deployment and sustenance
Good understanding of TPM methodology and lean tools.
Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
Should have working experience in Equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting and should have a minimum understanding of Instrumentation & Automation.
Should have good leadership skills to train the operators on TPM concepts/ Lean tools and bring cultural change.
Strong knowledge and understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP}
