Unit Head – Engineering | Cipla Ltd | Pune

Role & REsponsibilities:

Effectively manage Engineering activities related to the Development, Modification, Maintenance, and troubleshooting in a minimum time with maintaining cGMP compliance

• To maintain the facility compliance according to regulatory audits all the time.
• cGMP compliance in the utility supply, maintenance, and process machine area on a 24×7 basis.
• Coordinate with all stack holders/departments of the plant.
• To monitor the Preventive Maintenance Schedule & its effective implementation in the SAP module.
• To monitor and execute day-to-day maintenance activities of the engineering department
• To provide Engineering Support for various Qualification & validation activities.
• Provide the required Engineering support for all floor activities of the plant.
• To conduct FAT for new equipment /machinery.
• To monitor the installation of machinery & utilities of the overall plant.
• To monitor the Modification of existing facilities of the overall plant.
• Coordination for Purchasing / procuring the spare required for Maintenance Department.
• To prepare Revenue and Capex Budgets for the engineering department and monitor the expenses.
• Imparting training, developing the line skilled workforce, and improving people and equipment efficiency.
• Monitoring and implementation of documents related to Maintenance i. e.
  • Preventive maintenance schedule
  • Compliance with SOP & Formats
  • Monitoring QMS Module for documentation.
  • Monitoring Energy Conservation program.
  • Organizing & executing Training for the Engineering Department

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Candidate preferably has an experience in the API manufacturing industry.
• The position is based at Kurkumbh (Dist: Pune)

Education Qualification

• BE / B- Tech in Mechanical

Relevant Work Experience:

• 14-20 Years
